We offer hermetic feedthroughs with polarization maintaining (PM) fiber with an adapter of FC termination.
Hermetic feedthrough in a flange can be completely disassembled and thus all individual parts easily replaced.
PM hermetic feedthroughs enable passing of linearly polarized light from normal into ultra-high vacuum chambers. Under these conditions exhibit PM feedthroughs hermeticiy of 10-10 to 10-12 mbar l/s. These feedthroughs may be used with any type of polarization maintaining fiber, which wavelengths can range from 350nm up to 2mu. There’s a possibility to place into one flange larger number of feedthroughs of different fiber types. We can also supply stand-alone customer’s mountable feedthroughs to the customer. Vacuum PM feedthroughs can be also supplied with PM patch-cords in metal tubing, while it ensures high extinction ratio for the passing optical signal even under these extreme UHV environmental conditions.
